There's just something about a Kelly Elliot book that just leaves you smiling big after you've finished it and Perfect Enough was no different.
I literally couldn't put this book down from the moment I started it.
It was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. Perfect Enough gave me all the feels - it had me laughing at the witty banter between Sophia and Josh. Reaching for the tissues when the tears started flowing, and just about swooning when Josh got all romantic.
But above all else I understood the profound loss they were both feeling after the deaths of their loved ones, especially Sophia. It brought back so many memories of my own fathers death and at times it felt like I was reading about my own feelings despite it being 12 years.
"I know for a fact he wouldnt want me to drown in the grief, just like he wouldnt want you to, either. Or in guilt. He would want to see you live on in his memory. He's not gone, Josh. He's right here." She placed a hand on my chest, over my heart, and one on hers. "He will always be a part of us."
I can't wait to read the next book in the series and get a glimpse of Sophia and Josh, not to mention what happens to Nate!
